Isfahan

Isfahan (Esfahan) the center of a province with the same name, the third-largest city of Iran after Tehran and Mashhad with a population of 2 million residents. Isfahan is located 406 kilometers south of Tehran, in the central Iranian Plateau, on the plains stretching along Zayandeh Rood River, in a relatively mountainous area in the center of the Iranian Plateau, which stretches from the snowy Zagros Mountains in the west of Iran to the east and north-central deserts of Iran. Isfahan is one of the most important economic hubs in Iran with large industries like Mobarakeh Steel Company, Iran Aircraft Manufacturing Industrial Company, and various traditional handicrafts.

According to the 2017 census, the population of this city was 396,828. Kashan is located in the heart of the Dasht-e Kavir (Central Desert) and is the city of wonderful desert architecture related to the surroundings, eye-catching traditional and historical houses, rose water, and Persian carpets. Yazd is the center of Yazd Province located in the center of the Iranian plateau, 270 km southeast of Isfahan and close to two of the main historical roads, the Spice and Silk Roads. According to the last official census, the population of Yazd is about 656000. Yazd is a desert city and a great sample of the cities where people have managed the use of very limited water resources by genius inventions like Qanat system which consists of a set of underground water wells for drawing water to the city and is registered as a human heritage by UNESCO. Yazd is also known for its historical earthen architecture known as traditional Persian architecture which has been very well preserved over time unlike many historical cities and villages in the world. Nicknamed as the "city of windcatchers", the historic city of Yazd including traditional earthen houses and alleys, bazaars, hammams, mosques, etc. was registered as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

Abyaneh

Abyaneh is a unique historical village with pleasant weather and scenic nature located on the foothill of mount Karkas in Isfahan province. Abyaneh is characterized by its amazing architecture and reddish houses with netted windows and is one of the most beautiful villages of Iran that attracts many travelers and visitors. Apart from its unique architecture, Abyaneh is known for its hospitable locals. the majority of residents are old men and women who are busy with local businesses like gardening, and agriculture and creating simple crafts and selling local products like dried fruits, herbs, vinegar, etc. Also, the traditional costume of the locals is an attraction of Abyaneh Village per se. The women wear a colorful long scarf, a shirt, and vest, and a black skirt and the men wear loose black trousers.
